North Frontenac Little Theatre (NFLT)
NFLT is Frontenac’s very own community theatre that fosters creativity, partnerships, and a sense of belonging. NFLT is not only for actors; there are many roles to be filled backstage as well. Productions take place in the fall and in the spring, as do their potluck gatherings to which all are invited.

Bedford Hall Open Mic & Jam
Every other Sunday, audiences gather at Bedford Hall to relax and enjoy the talents of local performers. There are refreshments and room to dance.
Admission is $2 per head, unless you’re an entertainer in which case it’s free. New entertainers are welcomed.

Blue Skies Community Fiddle Orchestra (BSCFO)
The Fiddle Orchestra fosters fiddle music traditions by offering fun and affordable music instruction. They rehearse every other Saturday morning and every other Wednesday evening.
The BSCFO performs at schools, seniors’ homes, churches, and community events. They are an amateur, charitable, non-profit organization, sponsored by Blue Skies in the Community.
Music in the Park
An annual outdoor summer concert series sponsored by the Verona Community Association (VCA). There’s music, train rides on the Verona Express for the kids and a barbeque with pulled pork, hot dogs and drinks.

Pumpkin Pie Coffee House Music Series
Featuring musicians from the entire spectrum: folk, rock, blues, jazz, country, bluegrass and classical. The show takes place in a Coffee House setting in the Battersea United Church Hall. Homemade pie and beverages are provided by the United Church Women.
Frontenac Women's Chorus
The Frontenac Women's Chorus is a community chorus group with a wide-ranging repertoire. They try to include as much Canadian/local content as possible, and are always accepting singers. Anyone can join, as long as they can sing in tune and learn by ear with enthusiasm. No rehearsals are required.
The group meets regularly Monday nights at Trinity United Church in Verona. They also perform fall and spring concerts in communities north of Kingston.

Sunbury Fire Hall Open Mic
Every year, from September to the end of June, Sunbury Fire Hall opens its door every Friday night for a community open house. The event showcases local musicians singing and playing all genres of music.
There is no entry fee and food is served during a break in the evening with a suggested $2 donation to the food fund.
Every entertainer is invited to sing or play two songs of their choice. Various musicians are on stage to accompany the entertainers.
